Federally Qualified Health Centers

Federally Qualified Health Centers provide critically-needed services to patients and communities.  Although they enjoy several advantages and protections under the federal statutes which created and authorize them, FQHCs still operate in a heavily regulated environment. Many FQHCs and “look-alikes” participate in 340B drug programs, seek accreditation as a Patient Centered Medical Home, and pursue other quality and service initiatives. Because of the specific populations served, research programs often approach FQHCs about conducting clinical and population research, exposing the FQHC to additional ethics and compliance challenges.

Our experience with multiple FQHCs over the years has given us a depth and breadth of knowledge that significantly increases our efficiency in providing regulatory, operational and governance advice and counsel to this critical sector of the health care environment.
