Robert R. Harrison Named to American Health Lawyers Association Medical Staff Leadership Position

Robert R. Harrison has been appointed to a two-year term as Vice Chair of the Medical Staff, Credentialing and Peer Review Practice Group of the American Health Lawyers Association, serving from July 1, 2019 through June 30, 2021.  He previously served as Co-Chair of the AHLA National Practitioner Data Bank Work Group, and is frequently a speaker at national conferences on medical staff law and hospital-physician interactions.  Harrison serves as a consultant to hospitals and health systems on medical staff organization, corrective action and fair hearings and has held a number of related positions, including serving as Senior Counsel for Medical Staff Affairs at the Johns Hopkins Health System and as Chair of the Health Law Section of the Federal Bar Association.
